Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LinkDrive mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using LinkDrive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What LinkDrive is
LinkDrive is a third-party companion app that helps vehicle owners view status and send remote commands for supported connected vehicles (including Hyundai, Kia, Tesla, Volvo, and other brands as enabled).
LinkDrive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by vehicle manufacturers or their official apps, except as required to use each manufacturer’s documented APIs under your authorization.
Manufacturer apps and cloud services remain the systems of record. LinkDrive depends on those services remaining available and authorized.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
- Own or be authorized to control the vehicles you connect.
- Have a valid account with the relevant manufacturer connected-car service.
- Comply with applicable law and each manufacturer’s terms of use.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to authorize LinkDrive for each vehicle.
3. Account connection
To use manufacturer features you must sign in through that manufacturer’s login or OAuth flow and grant the permissions LinkDrive requests.
You agree that:
- Credentials, tokens, and keys remain under your control.
- You may revoke access at any time in LinkDrive and/or the manufacturer account settings.
- We do not sell your vehicle credentials.
- Some features may require extra manufacturer steps (for example pairing a virtual key).
4. Subscriptions
LinkDrive may offer optional paid subscriptions (LinkDrive Premium) through the Apple App Store. Available plans may include weekly, monthly, and yearly options. The title, length, and price of each subscription are shown in the app at the time of purchase and charged to your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price for that plan. After purchase, manage or cancel in Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Restore purchases using the in-app Restore control.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
5. Remote commands and safety
LinkDrive can send remote commands such as lock/unlock, climate start/stop, and charging-related actions where supported.
You acknowledge that:
- Remote commands can affect vehicle security, cabin climate, battery state, and energy use.
- You must only issue commands when it is safe and lawful.
- Do not rely on LinkDrive as the sole means of securing a vehicle or for emergency use.
- Command success depends on vehicle connectivity, manufacturer servers, paired keys, and network conditions. Commands may fail, be delayed, or be rejected.
- We are not responsible for lockouts, drained batteries, unexpected climate operation, theft, damage, or other outcomes arising from remote commands or failed commands.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access vehicles or accounts you are not authorized to control.
- Abuse, overload, or misuse manufacturer APIs.
- Circumvent security or authentication.
- Use the Service for illegal surveillance, stalking, or harassment.
- Misrepresent LinkDrive as an official manufacturer product.
- Resell API access obtained through LinkDrive.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated.
7. Third-party services
LinkDrive uses third-party platforms (Apple, manufacturer clouds, maps, hosting). Their terms and privacy policies apply. Outages, API changes, or policy changes by third parties may limit features without liability on our part.
8. Intellectual property
LinkDrive software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Manufacturers retain rights in their marks and APIs. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LinkDrive for personal vehicle-ownership purposes.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that status data is always accurate or real-time, that commands will succeed, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that manufacturer APIs will remain compatible.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR VEHICLE VALUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF LINKDRIVE OR FROM REMOTE VEHICLE COMMANDS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR LINKDRIVE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
Where a jurisdiction does not allow certain limitations, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and expenses arising from your misuse of LinkDrive, unauthorized vehicle access, remote commands you initiate, or violation of these Terms or manufacturer terms.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using LinkDrive at any time and disconnect manufacturer accounts. We may modify or discontinue features when required by API, platform, or legal constraints.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Courts in Istanbul, Türkiye have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting non-waivable consumer rights.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LinkDrive handles information when you use the app and related services.
1. Summary
LinkDrive connects to manufacturer cloud services you authorize so you can view vehicle status and send remote commands. We process data to provide that Service. We do not sell personal information.
2. Information we process
Account and authentication
- Manufacturer login identifiers you enter or authorize.
- OAuth access and refresh tokens issued after you consent.
- Optional PIN or MFA codes where a region requires them.
- Device identifiers some manufacturer APIs need for stable sessions.
Vehicle data
Depending on brand, region, and granted scopes: VIN, model, status (lock, climate, battery/fuel, odometer), location, and command results.
App and device
- Preferences (units, display settings).
- Optional diagnostics you enable (for example HTTP logs).
- Standard Apple platform identifiers for the app, widgets, and Live Activities.
Website
If you visit our published LinkDrive web pages, standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) may be recorded by the host.
Purchases
Subscription status is handled by Apple. We receive entitlement confirmation from Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate you with manufacturer services you connect.
- Sync vehicles into your garage and refresh status.
- Execute remote commands you initiate.
- Provide Premium features you purchase.
- Improve reliability and debug issues you report.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use vehicle location or credentials for advertising.
4. Storage and security
- Sensitive credentials and tokens are stored using Apple Keychain / App Group Keychain where shared access is required (app, widgets, watch).
- Communication with manufacturer APIs uses HTTPS.
- Optional command infrastructure processes signed requests on our servers when required by a manufacturer.
- No security measure is perfect; protect your device passcode and Apple ID, and revoke manufacturer access when needed.
5. Sharing
We share data only as needed to operate the Service:
- Manufacturers — API calls you authorize.
- Apple — App Store, subscriptions, push / Live Activities, and OS services.
- Hosting providers — websites and optional command proxies.
- Legal — if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Your choices
- Disconnect a manufacturer account in LinkDrive.
- Revoke access in the manufacturer account or vehicle key settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings.
- Delete the app.
- Disable optional logging in Settings.
7. Retention
- Tokens and vehicle cache remain while an account is connected on your devices.
- Website and proxy logs are retained only as needed for security and operations.
- After you disconnect, LinkDrive stops using that manufacturer connection on that device.
8. Children
LinkDrive is not directed to children under 18. Do not use the Service if you are under the age of majority where you live.
9. International processing
Data may be processed where manufacturer APIs and our hosting operate. By using LinkDrive you understand these transfers may occur as required to call the APIs you authorize.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
